I was lucky enough to be asked to do a photography shoot for Gandhara Designs recently. For me, this was completely different as I am used to photographing nature and wildlife. It happened to be a great day in Edmonton, although windy, so we could work outside, and I loved it! You can’t ask for better models than Sky, Meena, Katie, Joni, Alicia, and Sherilyn.

Check out Gandhara Designs, not only for its unique designs, but for its direct trade philosophy: they “[specialize] in wearable works of art for the selective and socially conscious shopper, the company is an innovative model of social entrepreneurship which supports artisans in the developing world, mostly women, to earn their way out of poverty and become active agents of social change.”
